Our refugee roots have given us so much: resilience, empathy, and the drive to do everything we can to thrive. For artists, this means diving into your work headfirst and with focus. Because of this, our community hasn't had time to take care of the business details, the other side of music, the side that makes a career sustainable.
I'm Paulina. I'm a Viet Kiều born in New Orleans. Brooklyn is my home, and the creative community is my family. I've spent decades in the music industry as a songwriter, then inside the business of publishing itself, including managing hundreds of thousands of songwriters at Songtrust and co-founding The Digilogue, a global music community of over 100,000 members. I learned how the system works so I could bring that knowledge back to the people it was never designed to serve. That's why I'm building Soda Chanh Music House.
Soda Chanh Music House offers publishing administration, co-publishing, and sync licensing–the foundation that makes sure your music is registered, collected, and working for you.
It's built specifically for Vietnamese diaspora artists who are serious about their careers and ready to have someone in their corner who actually understands both sides of this industry.
If this resonates, I'd love to hear from you.
